Nick Witkowski learned to play sled hockey in South Bend with the Sled Rovers. He got in a sled for the first time at the Ice Box when he was 5 years old. After playing with the Rovers for a few years, his family moved to Florida, where continued to grow, play, and improve. In 2021 he was selected to play with the U.S. Men's Developmental Sled Hockey Team. This year he was selected to play with the U.S. National Sled Team! He traveled to the Czech Republic where the team went 5-0 in the IPH Tournament and won gold, beating Canada 4-0!
Nick will be back in South Bend to join the Sled Rovers for the annual Adam Milani Sled Tournament on Saturday November 26th. Come on out to meet Nick and welcome our hometown hero home!
